Most frequent questions and answers
No, you do not have to study in Bremen. What is important is that you are able to participate in our general meetings. The general meetings usually take place every 2 weeks at the University of Bremen in room B2880. You are welcome to join us regardless of whether you are studying at a state university, university of applied sciences or a private university.
The work you do directly for ASTRA and its internal organisation is voluntary and therefore unpaid.
We welcome students from all disciplines. We are mainly looking for students who want to get involved and develop their skills alongside their studies. Previous knowledge of the activities in the respective departments is not required. The only thing that counts for us is an interest in the idea of ASTRA e.V. as well as commitment and passion.
You are welcome to join us from your first semester. It is much more important for us that you have at least one semesters left to develop yourself and ASTRA at the time of your application.
